In the Martin family, our passion is hunting. We are fortunate to live in an area that allows us to hunt several species of gamebirds in nearly every type of terrain. When we aren't working to pay the bills, we are at our "home away from home" at a farm in the Columbia Basin. Over the years we have hunted behind many breeds of dogs, including Labs, Wirehairs, Shorthairs, and Brittanys. While all of these dogs perform well in the field, we have developed a love for the Llewellin Setter. We have hunted behind setters for 9 years and believe they are the best all around walk behind hunting dog available. They show amazing drive to find and point gamebirds while afield, but are able to settle down and be pleasant companions around the house. Nearly everyone who sees our dogs can't help but comment on how beautiful they are and how nice they are to be around.
